I use high-quality gallery wrapped canvas and professional grade acrylics. I paint the edges, so it is ready-to-hang. Framing isn't necessary.

As you can see, I use the exact same pose from the photo as the reference for the painting. I don’t combine multiple photos or change the pose. I work directly from a single image to capture your pet as they are. The better the photo, the better the final painting will turn out!
Artistic Style
My painting style is colorful, vibrant, and intentionally non-realistic—rooted in a love of bold color and expressive freedom. Inspired by Fauvism, I use whimsical, energetic brushstrokes and unexpected color combinations to capture emotion over accuracy. Rather than replicating what I see, I create artwork that feels alive—playful, soulful, and full of movement.

What is required to commission a portrait?
​
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your commission. Remaining balance is due upon completion and before portrait is shipped. Due to the custom nature of this work, deposits are non-refundable once your portrait has begun.

How long is the turnaround time for my portrait?
​
To ensure every portrait gets the attention it deserves, I take a limited number of commissions each month. Portraits require up to 4 weeks of turnaround time, although in some cases may be shorter.

This portrait is a gift. Can you ship it on my behalf to my friend/family?

Yes! Please let me know if this is a gift and if you'd like me to ship it directly to them upon completion. Please note that shipping & handling fees are not included in the portrait canvas. All shipping is subject to additional fees.​​

Can you put a funny hat on my pet or add sunglasses?
​
I use the exact same pose from the photo as the reference for the painting. I don’t combine multiple photos or change the pose. I work directly from a single image to capture your pet as they are. If your pet is wearing sunglasses or a funny hat in the photo, then yes! The better the photo, the better the final painting will turn out!​

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Inspired by my grandmother, Ann, I began painting as soon as I could hold a brush. Growing up, I was always encouraged to “color outside the lines,” a philosophy that continues to shape my work today. It gave me the freedom to explore, trust my instincts, and embrace creativity without rules—something that now lives at the heart of my vibrant, kaleidoscopic, and whimsical style.
